Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that I'm still alive and doing well! The blog website has been having problems, so that explains my lack of posting lately. Today, I worked with Kenyan children who were abandoned b/c of physical and/or mental disabilities. It was at first emotionally challenging, but then extremely rewarding as we got to know the kids and see how joyful they are. We are going to feed giraffes tomorrow (from our mouths)!

Pray for our ministry with many Sudanese refugees (the "Lost Boys") living in the slums of Nairobi. Many of them were forced into the military as young as 6 yrs of age, but they are incredibly resilient and hopefully for a better future. We are starting a school and feeding program for some of the refugees.

God's work continues each day, and I am so grateful to be an instrument. He works despite my weakness.

Mark
